The site where University of cape town student Uyinene Mrwetyana was murdered has become a place of mourning after friends and activists started placing flowers and cards at the entrance to the post office.

Mretwyana was raped and murdered by her alleged attacker after he lured her into the post office after hours.

Her charred body was discovered in a shallow grave a week later.
