A feral kitten was trapped in a fishing net before being rescued near a village pond in east India earlier this week (September 9).

According to Sources, one villager was going to bathe in the pond at Uthaninuagaon village of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, when he heard the trapped kitten's cries.

The villager found the kitten near a bush by his house trapped in a fishing net, and called an animal rescue expert who cut it free, allowing it to run into the wild.

According to Sources, one villager was going to bath in the pond, suddenly he has been listened the sound of kitten and felt some emotional. The villager search here and there but did not find. Ultimately when he went back to his house he saw the kitten trapped in a fishing net near a bush and crying. The villager informed the animal rescuer Mr. Krishna.

After information Krishna came to the spot and rescued the kitten by gunny bag and cut the fishing net and released.
