A car became stuck upright on a pole after smashing into a road signpost on a road in China.

The dramatic dashcam video, filmed in Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province on September 15, shows a white car suddenly slamming into a signpost, causing the vehicle to become stuck.

There were three people in the car when the incident happened. Only the driver was injured and sent to hospital.

The case is being investigated by the police, reports said.

余杭公安通报：15日17时12分许，余杭公安接报警称，在东湖高架外翁线下口处，一辆白色轿车撞了栏杆，车子竖在那里。交警、巡特警、消防、乔司所赴现场处置。唐某（女，26岁，甘肃人）驾驶轿车（车上2名乘员）行驶至东湖高架外翁线乔司下口处时，与下口处的钢柱相撞。唐某本人因伤送往医院救治，车上乘员未受伤。经检测，目前未发现唐某酒驾、毒驾嫌疑。事故情况交警部门正在进一步调查中。
