the dry season or summer in the Padang city area triggers around 1000 families in Lubuk Subdistrict and Pauh Subdistrict, Padang City has experienced a shortage of clean water during the last 1 month.

This shortage of clean water is triggered by the number of major rivers in the city of Padang which are channeled to the receptacle for clean water and the consumption of these residents experiences drought.

the head of the emergency department of the regional disaster management agency said "the city government of Padang distributes clean water for the consumption of bathing, drinking and other interests of approximately 20,000 to 40,000 thousand liters per day which is directly provided by the regional drinking water company (PDAM)".

the distribution of clean water is carried out from morning to night which is immediately welcomed by jerry cans.
