Buffalo gives birth to mutant calf with two heads, tails in northern India
A buffalo has become an unlikely attraction after giving birth to a calf with two mouths and tails in northern India.
The incident took place on Sept. 15 in Papahn village of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district.
Visual showed veterinarians operating upon the pregnant buffalo.
After the bovine delivered, doctors were taken aback to see the calf's unusual appearance.
Doctors said the operation lasted five hours.
The calf possesses two separate heard with complete features- two eyes, two ears, a mouth, a nose- in each.
It also has two tails.
Such mutant calves are not rare in India, though the frequency of their appearance remains low.
In most cases, the calves do not survive as they suffer from health complications.
