A three-legged chick has become a star attraction at a poultry farm near Dharwad in South India.

The chic, a healthy bird, is normal in all respects except for a third limb hanging from its rear.

The poultry owner, Illamuddin Mohammed Issac Moraba, is happy that the chic is drawing visitors to his farm. He has no plans to raise it for meat and says he will take care of it as a pet.

“This is the second time a chick has hatched with three eggs in our farm. The earlier chick had died after just. This one is going strong even after 20 days,” he says.
