Vietnamese food and handmade products were displayed at a trade show in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday (22/09).

The event, 'Vietnamese Week in Thailand 2019', was staged to promote trade between the two Southeast Asian countries.

Footage shows dozens of delicious dishes from Vietnam as well as traditional costumes and handmade souvenirs.

Vietnam's Deputy Industry Minister Do Thang Hai attended the event.

He said: ''We highly appreciate this effort and would like to thank the Commerce Ministry of Thailand, Central Group and other related parties for their support in organising the event.

''This event is a fine example of public and private organisations joining forces to expand business potential for both big and small firms to grow in overseas markets. In the process, they attain both economic benefits and enhanced bilateral relations.''
