In a shocking incident, a man was dragged for over five kilometres on the bonnet of a car in northern India.

The road-rage took place on Sept. 14 in Haryana's Faridabad city.

Visuals showed the man trying to stop the car. However, he jumped on the bonnet as the vehicle did not stop.

The man's misery did not end there as the vehicle sped away with him hanging from the bonnet.

Reports said the man, identified as Shivam Chaudhary, a manager of a school, had gotten involved in an altercation with the occupants of the car after they rammed his car in the morning.

After the argument, the car followed him and tried to run him over.

Following a drive of over five kilometres, the six occupants of the car came out of the vehicle and beat the man black and blue before fleeing the spot.

Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the crime, police registered a case against the alleged criminals.

In a similar incident, a toll plaza worker was dragged for a mile in the same state after he stopped a commuter who wasn't willing to pay the fare.
