People flock to see remains of crashed army aircraft in central India

Two pilots ejected safely before a trainer aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force crashed near its base in central India's Gwalior city.

The incident took place on Sept. 25.

Visuals showed the remains of the aircraft strewn in and around a field as people gathered around it.

According to reports, a group captain and a squadron leader were flying the MiG-21 plane.

Fortunately, they ejected safely.

Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force has ordered an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the crash.
