This is the dramatic moment a group of men saved a drunk biker from being swept away by floodwaters in India.

According to witnesses, the biker attempted to cross a severely flooded section of road in Khargone city in Madhya Pradesh state on September 25.

Locals had warned him to turn back because it was too dangerous but he continued regardless.

Video footage shows that he soon got into trouble, struggling to keep the bike upright under the weight of water and moments from being swept off the flooded road into the fast-flowing torrents below.

At this point, the clip shows the men coming to his rescue and pushing him and his bike to dry land.

A few of the rescuers can be seen in the footage berating him for his foolishness.

At this point, according to a witness, they realised the biker had had one too many to be driving at all, let alone attempting to navigate flooded roads.

A drunk biker was saved by villagers from being swept away in heavy flow of flood water of overflowing Kunda river in Village Umarkhali in Khargone city . The incident happened on 25th of Septeber when a biker was coming from another end of the road , the road was overflowing with river water , villagers saw a biker trying to cros the road and shouted to not to do soKhargone city as there is a danger to get swept away . But he didn’t listened and came in between and stucked there , he was lucky not to get swept away in river . Soon some villagers ran in his rescue and took him and his bike to side of the road holding each other . Later the villagers found the biker was a little drunk also .
