This is the bizarre moment firefighters in Andorra used a helicopter to airlift a pregnant cow down a mountain.

The animal, know as Bruneta, was so heavily pregnant that on Wednesday (September 25) she was unable to make her way down to the farm belonging to Oscar Camo.

Concerned for Bruneta and her unborn offspring, he called the fire brigade who offered up the use of their helicopter.

They strapped her into a special harness and whisked her into the air.

Footage shows Bruneta sailing through the clouds on her way to the safety of the farm.

Three days later on September 28, she gave birth to a healthy calf and both are now doing very well, according to Camo.
