Officials use excavator while moving people to safer places in flood-hit northern India
A video has emerged of rescue operations being conducted using an excavator in flood-hit northern India.
The incident took place on Sept. 30 in Patna city of Bihar state.
Visuals show a JCB carrying people, including an elderly woman, in its front bucket.
The JCB is seen moving the people from the flooded areas to a safer location.
At least seven people are seen being rescued.
The rescuers also made special arrangements for the elderly woman as she was seen seated on a chair.
The weather department has forecasted heavy rains till Sept. 30.
At least 29 people have been reported dead in the state due to heavy rainfall in the past 48 hours.
