Protesters in Hong Kong showed their contempt for Xi Jinping and the mainland on China's national day (October 1).

Footage shows Hong Kongers walking over and stamping on prints of the Chinese president's face, while other footage shows eggs being thrown at an image of the leader.

Some marchers are pictured releasing black balloons and treading on signs with pro-Chinese national day slogans on them.
