On September 21 a wild bear entered a village in central India, terrifying the local people and prompting a 10-hour rescue effort.

The animal was spotted by villagers at around 5:00am near Dhodi village in Balrampur city, Chattisgarh state, and immediately informed the Forest department.

Hundreds of villagers gathered to see the bear, who eluded attempts to bait and capture it for 10 hours, until it was eventually flushed out and tranquillised.

The bear was then safely relocated.

Villagers saw the bear early morning around 5 AM roaming in the area , Sensing the danger from the bear villagers immediately informed the forest department .. Hundreds of villagers gathered to see the bear …after a massive effort of villagers and forest department they were not able to catch bear …they tried all sorts of tricks like putting eatable items there …but when all goes in vain ..to make him run towards the open farm area villagers started making loud noise , listening to that bear ran towards the farm area where finally forest department was able to tranquilize him .According to forest officials it took them around 10 hours to rescue the bear ..he was left in near by forest area later
