Spain's Supreme Court has overturns the government's decision to remove bullfighting from the list of events young people can access for free through a culture voucher scheme worth £355.

The Supreme Court found that bullfighting is part of the country's cultural heritage and therefore, should be included in the project "bono cultural joven".

On February 7, Sergio Torres, Director General of animal rights at Spain's social rights ministry "Derechos de los Animales", tweeted: "The Supreme Court obliges the government to subsidize bullfighting in the cultural bonus. Bullfighting was declared a Spanish cultural heritage by Law 18/2013. It is time to repeal this law and never again call bullfighting a cultural heritage".

In this video, a man in Spain is trying haphazardly to bullfight but ends up getting tossed like a rag doll by the stampeding steer.
