Silent slow motion performances of Extinction Rebellion Red Brigade were seen across central London on day one of the two-week long International Rebellion against climate change - Monday, 7 October 2019. Participants in striking floor-length crimson dresses, with their faces painted white, command attention as they proceed along Whitehall that is blocked for traffic, with a bit of rain. Red colour symbolises the common blood we share with all species. The Red Brigade started in the UK and first appeared during protests against the Iraq War in 2001.
