Scarily Sky Burial in Nagqu Tibet
Sky burial is a funeral practice in which a human corpse is placed on a mountaintop to decompose while exposed to the elements or to be eaten by scavenging animals, especially carrion birds. There is no need to preserve the body, as it is now an empty vessel.
The scene was recorded at Nagqu Tibet China on 24 June 2019 where the body is believed to be a goat carcass which were eaten by hundreds of vulture carrion birds.
