Golfer bursts giant water bubble making it look like a popped pimple
This is the moment a golfer in Manchester popped a giant bubble of water that had collected after heavy rainfall.
The clip, filmed on 6 October, shows the moment Brian, known on social media as the Adequate Golfer, and his friends turned into plumbers and pierced the bubble making the muddy water seep out and trickle down the hill.
Brian told Newsflare: “During a round of golf at Wigan Golf Club, I almost fell over as the fairway beneath me seemingly fell away, on looking closer it was obvious there was a substantial amount of water that had created a pocket about 2-3 inches under the surface.
“It had been raining so much in the preceding 2-3 weeks the water table obviously couldn't take anymore, the patch of ground was not too far from a small pond so I thought it best to release the water by puncturing it with a club, after most of it had drained away I made sure the hole I made was closed then carried on my round.”
