Crocodile tied up like cattle by villagers in central India
Surprising footage of a crocodile tied up like cattle to a wooden stick by villagers has emerged from central India.
The incident took place on October 10 in Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh.
Visuals show a crocodile tied up by farmers after it wandered into a temple. While some villagers tried to help the reptile it can be snapping at them while others can be heard passing comments.
After a long effort from villagers and forest officers, they managed to catch it safely and move it to the nearby Madikheda dam.
According to reports, incidents of crocodiles wandering into the villages of the area have become frequent after the recent floods.
