Elsewhere, as activists staged a mock funeral procession on Oxford Street, one shopper called for protesters to ‘kill yourself’ to save the environment. The group have said the "grief march" is a procession for people to remember all that has been lost due to climate change. Scotland Yard has already made more than 1,000 arrests this week amid demonstrations across the capital.
