This 71-year-old grandma from India defied her age as she went paragliding for the first time in the Himalayas.

A GoPro video filmed by the grandma with a selfie stick shows the inspirational senior citzen smiling away as she hovers over the picturesque Himalayan town of Kullu, in northern India's Himachal Pradesh, on October 12.

The woman, who has two grandchildren, is so confident that she even adjusts the selfie stick to get a better angle.

Though she mostly keeps quiet, she does occasionally make smalltalk with her pilot and even waves at people down below as she approaches the landing.

After landing safely, the woman gracefully thanked the pilot for his efforts.

Though she mostly kept quiet, the woman made the occasional talk with the pilot and even waved at her people as she approached the landing.

After her landing, the woman gracefully thanked the pilot for his efforts.

While she may not be the oldest woman to paraglide, it does not take away the courage and determination she showed during the course of the adventure.
