This is the heartwarming moment hundreds of baby turtles were released into the sea to mark the 17th anniversary of the Bali bombings.

The attack in the Kuta district of the popular Indonesian holiday island killed 202 people and injured 209 on October 12, 2002.

This year, hundreds of tourists converged on the beach to take part in the release of turtle hatchlings into the sea to commemorate the deadly attacks.

Lisa Shepherd from Victoria, Australia, attended the memorial service which she said was ''full of love''.

Members of violent terror group Jemaah Islamiyah were convicted over the bombings, including three who were sentenced to death.
