Chinese man uses 250kg coins to pay deposit for car

A man used around 250kg of coins to pay the deposit for his car in eastern China.

In the video, shot in the city of Heze on October 14, around a dozen employees squat on the ground inside a car dealership to count the coins.

The sum totalled around 40,000 yuan (around £4400).

According to the workers at the dealership, the coins were saved by the man when he was a child. He did not bother to bring them to the bank, so he used the coins to pay the deposit of his car.

it took around two hours for the employees to finish counting the coins.
