Jamie Song has cultivated exotic plants into his indoor garden. What can't fit on his floor space, he hangs on the ceiling. He also has some plants that he lets crawl on the wall. He describes himself as "a plant hoarder in the modern bohemian world."

Despite the usual plant problem such as bugs and other pests, he said that having the plants is rewarding.

He said: "On a long day of watering, at the end of it I’m exhausted, and I have thought ‘I want to get rid of these plants’. But in general, every day when I come upstairs, I feel much happier."
