This is the touching moment a kind woman gave a drenched stray dog a pink raincoat to keep him dry during a storm.

Locals spotted the wet pooch outside a corner shop while heavy rain was pounding him in Phayao, northern Thailand.

Santisuk Tonkong, 25, filmed as a caring woman bought a disposable poncho, then fastened the pink coat around his neck and paws - even putting up the hood to keep his fur dry.

Shop assistant Santisuk said the white dog regularly appeared at the shop but he did not know where he came from.

He said: ''He just lives on the streets and would come every day around the same kind of time."

''That day he was very wet, so somebody bought him the raincoat. They put it on him to keep him dry.''
