A historic harbor and beach, best known in the historical drama television series Poldark, has been left in a sea of orange caused by overflowing sewage in Charlestown, Cornwall.

The footage from Thursday (October 24) demonstrates the devastating scene of the once-popular location filled with raw sewage spilling into the sea.

An historic harbour and beach where Poldark was filmed has been left in a sea of orange - believed to have been caused by overflowing SEWAGE. The harbour is home to ancient tall ships and looks like a scene straight out of a by-gone era, so much so that it is often used as a filming location for period dramas. It was one of the spots used in Poldark, the hit BBC drama featuring Aidan Turner, and in nearly every episode main characters Ross and Demelza visited at least once. But now the water at Charlestown, Cornwall, has turned an oddly golden hue, which is thought to have been caused by raw sewage spilling into the sea.
