A dog in north India helped a lost baby monkey separated from its mother by taking it to a police post, in this heartwarming story.

The dog, from Baleh in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh found the monkey on October 21, and allowed it to climb on his back, then carrying it to the nearby police post and calling for help.

An officer found the unlikely pair and was moved by the show of animal compassion, and fed the baby monkey bananas.

Awadhesh Dubey, in charge of Sagar's Baleh Outpost, says, "I have never seen such a thing, seeing this example of help was a pleasant feeling."

The monkey was found to have a chain on its neck, which was removed and the animal was handed over to forest officials who would help return it to the wild.

In Sagar, a dog not only played friendship with the little monkey but also set an example of sensations. The dog made the monkey sit on the back. He too rode his back comfortably without hesitation. The dog sat on the back and took the little monkey to the police post. As soon as the dog reached the police post, almost all the people present there were surprised. The outpost in-charge could not believe without being affected by the spirit of friendship and help of the dog and the little monkey. He immediately arranged for the hungry monkey to eat. Dog work is not over here. He sat in the police station for a long time to ensure that the monkey baby was in the right hands or not
