A tank truck transporting 32 tons of waste oil flipped over after failing to avoid a stalled car on the road in eastern China.

The CCTV video, filmed on October 22 on the Beijing–Shanghai Expressway in the city of Wuxi, shows a tanker truck tipping over onto the group after swerving to avoid a car that had halted in the middle of the road.

According to reports, the car broke down and stopped on the highway.

Although the car driver had turned on his hazard lights, but no other warning sign was set up.

Some waste oil leaked out from the flipped tanker after the incident, but no casualties were reported. Police are investigating the case.

22日9时22分左右，一辆装载32吨废机油，牌号为鲁H46XXX的槽罐车，从无锡开往山东泰安，行驶至京沪高速江都丁伙枢纽附近时，与同向停车的浙J07XXX白色轿车发生碰撞后侧翻横在路上。
轿车司机表示，到了这个路牌的时候，自己感觉车子发动机不正常，速度就慢下来，打了双跳。警方调阅监控录像后发现，白色轿车停在事发路段后，虽然打开了双闪，却没有设置警示标志，在此后的一分多钟时间里，多辆汽车惊险地避让轿车。警方告诉他，车辆在高速公路上发生故障或者交通事故后，要尽快将车辆转移到应急车道，并在车后150米处设置警示标志，即便车辆停在行车道上无法移动，司机也不能坐在车里。
据了解，槽罐车中装有32吨废弃机油，侧翻后出现少量泄漏，所幸事故中没有人员伤亡。目前，警方正在进一步调查。
