A man jumped off his scooter to avoid being hit by an SUV after it had a collision with another car on a highway in eastern China.

The dramatic video, shot in the city of Yiwu on October 24, shows a black car crashing into a black SUV and pushing it to the side of the road after turning a corner.

The SUV then swerves toward a scooter with a man on it, knocking it down until it stopped after hitting the traffic light pole.

The quick-thinking motorcyclist jumped off his scooter quickly to avoid being hit by the SUV.

According to reports, a red car blocked both the black car and black SUV drivers' field of view. Although the SUV driver turned the steering wheel to try to avoid the car when he saw it, two vehicles still had a collision.

The three people in the car, the driver named Wang, his friend, and his wife suffered minor injuries, as well as the scooter rider himself.

10月24日9时14分许，浙江义务佛堂交警大队接到报警称，在佛堂大道梅林交叉口发生一起交通事故，造成4人受伤。

接警后，交警立即赶到现场。只见道路中间停着一辆黑色轿车，右侧车头受损，右前轮胎已经脱落，边上的非机动车道上还停着一辆车头破损且前保险杠脱落的黑色越野车和一辆翻倒的电动车。

经查，越野车与轿车双方均为绿灯通行。小轿车驾驶人姓王，当时载着妻子和朋友前往梅林，在事发路口转弯时，因被中间直行车道的红色轿车遮住了视线，未发现越野车。

而对向直行的越野车驾驶人李某，当时正驾车赶往城里办事，通过路口时同样被红色轿车遮挡视线。由于车速较快，当李某发现王某驾驶的轿车时，虽然向右打了方向进行避让，但还是与轿车右侧车头发生碰撞。紧接着，越野车由于撞击产生的惯性直接冲向了路边等候通行的电动车驾驶人倪某。

倪某正好发现这一情况，电光火石间本能地双手放离车把，纵身向后一跃......最终，被撞的电动车旋转了180°倒在一旁，而武神附体的倪某只是手指受了点伤。受到惊吓的倪某事后说：“如果没有躲开，我的双腿肯定没了！”

事故造成王某妻子一根肋骨骨折，倪某、王某及其朋友受了点轻微伤，车损共计在两万元以上。

这起事故因王某转弯未让直行负事故的主要责任，李某因通过路口未减速观察负事故的次要责任，倪某无责。
