Dash Cam Footage Of A Chance Encounter With A Sika Stag While On Mobile Patrol
While out on one of Real World Services, nightly mobile patrols, we had this very unusual encounter.
As we approached Overcombe Corner, we meet this young stag standing in the road, it was only early and he looked lost.
Our resident deer expert tells us that this is a year old Sika Stag, who is unfortunately lost. At his age, he should be surrounded by females in the rut. His nearest one is about 3 miles away from where we saw him.
Fingers crossed, he finds his way back, when he left the road, he was heading towards Lodmoor Nature Reserve.
