Starving deer and monkeys seen eating plastic waste left by tourists in Indian park
A heart-wrenching video has emerged of monkeys and deer munching on plastic waste inside a national park in northwest India.
The video was shot on October 31, in Zone 2 area of the Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan.
Visual showed monkeys and sambar deer eating plastic waste, much to the chagrin of onlookers.
Complaints have been lodged against conservation authorities regarding their efforts to curtail the plastic waste situation, while activists have appealed to officials to put a ban on plastic bags in and around the national park.
