Oswego, NY Windstorm Creates Large Waves
A strong low pressure system went over Lake Ontario on Friday, November 1, 2019 and created strong winds (sustained 53 and gusts at/near hurricane force). This created power outages and made SUNY Oswego cancel morning classes, as it is situated right on the shore of the lake (this is very rare). Waves neared 20 feet just offshore, which created minor flooding. Everyone was safe in this video. This video was taken at famous Rudy's Lakeside Drive-in.
