Chinese tourists grab seagull off pier and force-feed it
Tourists were spotted grabbing a seagull and forced-feeding it in southwestern China's Kunming city on October 31.
The video shows a man holding a seagull he caught near Dian Lake and a woman force-feeding it bread.
The seagull can be seen opening its mouth widely to scream and trying to escape, while several tourists were taking pictures of it.
Several local citizens shouted to stop them immediately.
A woman said:" You cannot treat it (seagull) like that!" and a man said:" What are you doing?"
Since the seagulls were frightened by the abduction, they flew away and did not come back for around an hour.
The tourists explained that they did not know they were not supposed to grab the seagull and apologised before leaving.
