Cheeky Thai shopper caught sampling NINE bottles on grocery store security cameras
This is the bizarre moment a Thai male shopper opened dozens of different bottles from a supermarket shelf to try before buying one.
The CCTV footage filmed in Nakhon Ratchasima in northeastern Thailand last Saturday (November 2) afternoon, shows the man repeatedly opening the bottles, taking a sip of wine, then lining up the bottles on the floor.
He tasted more than a dozen bottles of wine before finally settling on a bottle of Argentinian white, which he took to the counter and paid for.
Shocked staff found the empty row of bottles and checked the cameras before handing the video to the police.
They said the man had drunk more than 50GBP worth of wine and had disappeared from the area when security guards gave chase.
The shop manager told the police that she had never seen the man before.
She added: "I checked the damage that he caused and reported it to the police along with the video.''
