The Community of Madrid and the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) will launch this month a research project to improve air quality, which consists in the development of systems to predict atmospheric pollutant concentrations such as nitrogen and sulfur oxides, Carbon monoxide, as well as various particles present in the air,

This is the SISPAIR (Air Quality Prediction System) project approved a month ago by the Governing Council with an expense of 300,000 euros. With this agreement, the Regional Executive tries to improve and expand the meteorological information that it has on the existing substances in the air and, in addition, it serves as a complement to the Blue Plan + that the Community of Madrid is currently developing to guarantee air quality .

With this project, which will be developed until 2022, it will allow to know more data about air quality and to apply the appropriate measures to reduce gas emissions. From the regional government they emphasize that they are committed to sustainable mobility to reduce energy consumption and polluting emissions.
