Parisians gathered to demonstrate against Islamaphobia on Sunday (November 10) after a far-right politician asked a Muslim woman to remove her veil at a council meeting in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

Footage shows protesters on Rue de Dunkerque with signs, chants and flairs in opposition Islamophobia.

A video went viral of Julien Odoul, leader of the National Rally in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regional assembly, after he asked a Muslim woman to remove her veil at a council meeting on October 11.
