Two minute silence pays tribute to the war dead at the Soviet War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday 2019
"We will remember them" by the Royal Navy veteran Ernie Davies of the Russian Convoy Club precedes two-minute silence during the Act of Remembrance at the Soviet War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday 2019. Tributes are paid to the heroes of the two world wars. Wreath-layers are gathered around the 3.5m tall "Sorrowful" bronze sculpture of a semi-abstract figure holding a bell that will remain forever silent in memory of those who died. The sculpture was made in Russia and unveiled in Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park outside the Imperial War Museum on 9 May 1999. London, 10 November 2019. #TwoMinuteSilence #WeWillRememberThem #SovietWarMemorial #ActOfRemembrance #SorrowfulSculpture #EarnieDavies #RussianConvoyClub #10November2019
