CCTV footage catches head-on collision between passenger trains in south India

Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of a train collision near Hyderabad in south India that left 16 injured on November 11.

The incident took place near Kacheguda Railway Station, Telangana, on the morning of November 11, as both trains hit each other head-on, and derailed as the carriages were sent flying off the tracks.

Luckily no one died as both trains were travelling at a relatively slow speed.

Six coaches of the MMTS service and three coaches of the Hundry Express were damaged.

The injured passengers were rushed to Osmania General Hospital, where two were later discharged.
