A medical shopkeeper in east India received an unusual patient when an injured monkey came to his shop to get first aid on November 16.

Anajum Ajim, who runs a medical shop in Mallapur, Birbhum district in West Bengal, found a monkey that had climbed off an auto-rickshaw and jumped on his counter, and reportedly "looking in pain."

Ajim commented: "I gave him one pain killer with water, he drunk three glasses of water. After giving him medicine we put some ointment on the monkey's wound on shoulder, leg and neck.

"After taking medicine monkey rested there at table put outside of medical store for an hour. After resting he jumped on an auto [rickshaw] and left."

Monirul Islam, who caught this video on his mobile, commented: "I was there at shop to buy some medicine, it was quite interesting to see a monkey coming for his treatment."

On 16th November Anajum Ajim who had a medical shop in Mallapur in Birbhum district gave first aid and medicine to a very unique patient came to his shop after getting injured in a fight. .Anajum says he was on his shop when a monkey came from an auto and jumped on his counter , he saw the monkey is injured and had several wounds on his body Anajum says monkey was looking in pain .
I gave him one pain killler with water ,he drunk three glass of water .after giving medicine we put some ointment on monkeys wound on shoulder ,leg and neck part .
After taking medicine monkey rested there at table put outside of medical store for an hour ..after rest he again jumped on an auto and left .
