Man creates world's first 2m Rubik's Cube puzzle (6 feet 8 inches)
Lifelong puzzle fan Tony Fisher has broken the world record for the largest Rubik's Cube. In the video we see him make a chequerboard pattern which involves moving all layers and is commonly used to prove full functionality of a puzzle. His 2.03m or 6 feet 8 inch puzzle breaks the previous record (1.68m by Wes Nelson) by a full 35cm or over one foot. Tony spent 330 hours creating the enormous cube between July and November 2019. He made it to regain the record he held previously held with his 1.57m cube in 2016. He is currently waiting for Guinness to ratify his new creation.
Tony also holds the record for the smallest Rubik's Cube with his 5.6mm creation. Other items he has made include functional and edible pineapple, salami, apple, chococolate, cheese and ice Rubik's Cubes as well as a cube made from candle wax.
