The adorably priceless reaction is captured as three former college roommates spent weeks to plan a shocking reunion to surprise their best friend who moved to Chicago for her birthday last Friday (November 15).

Maggie, Caroline, Erin, and Hanna were all roommates at Temple University in Philadelphia and best friends throughout college. When Erin moved away to Chicago a week after graduation, she worried her college best friends would miss her 23rd birthday.

"Erin kept telling her new Chicago friends she wishes her roommates could be there for her birthday to celebrate since we'd been together for it for the last four years. We already had the plane tickets when she was saying that!" Hanna tells Newsflare, who filmed Erin's overjoyed response.

"There wasn’t a dry eye in sight," said Hanna about the surprise that was a month in planning and kept closely guarded to maximize the impact.
