Further footage shows several Hong Kong protesters at Polytechnic University launching a barrage of missiles at an oncoming armoured police vehicle.

This video was filmed on November 17 as activists slowly retreat into the Polytechnic University's campus.

Police claimed in the South China Morning Post newspaper that the Unimog can stop a riot in 5 minutes. Hong Kong protesters unleashed a barrage of petrol bombs onto the police vehicle which was badly damaged and could barely slowly retreat at Polytechnic University on Nov 17, 2019. The protesters are entering their 6th month of protests against the Hong Kong government moving closer to China authoritarian rule. Their defense of Hong Kong Polytechnic University has seen some of the fiercest battles between the police and protesters since the protests began. On Tuesday the US Senate just passed a bill supporting the Hong Kong protesters. The House and Senate both passed the bill with a veto-proof majority.
