The owners arrived with bags of cut-price branded dresses in General Santos City, the Philippines at around 8 am on November 16.
They were selling colourful used garments for just 35 Pesos (53 pence).
But no sooner had they been able to open the bags, ravenous shoppers began tearing them open trying to grab a bargain.
Footage shows locals climbing on top of the table and tussling with each other as they battled to scoop up and as many pieces as they can.
Onlooker Cristine Santos said the most competitive shoppers were probably those hoping to resell the cheap clothes for a small profit.
She said: "The people were just going wild trying to get their hands on the clothes.''
Cristine said the top branded clothes were given a low price because they arrived from overseas.
They are usually supplied by shops in the West where customers can weigh-in their old clothes for around 50 pence a kilo.
