Desperate farmers whose fields were ravaged by typhoon Nakri in the Philippines harvest what is left of their crops after severe flooding.

Footage from November 10 shows the heartbreaking moment rice farmers cut their submerged crops and place them into a bamboo raft to take home in Cagayan province.

Locals said that the rice can still be eaten once dried, but the price will go down to a measly two pesos (.04 US cents) per kilo.

The whole province of Cagayan was placed under a state of calamity because of excessive floodings across the region.
