Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong staged a peaceful protest in a shopping mall in central Hong Kong on Tuesday (November 26).

Parts of the busy shopping mall were brought to a standstill with protesters chanting "Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong”
and “Five demands, not one less”.

Large numbers of protesters brought part of a busy shopping mall in central Hong Kong to a standstill on Tuesday (26 November). The protesters chanting various pro-democracy slogan such as;

“Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong”
“Five demands, not one less”

Following the pro-democracy parties victory in the district elections, the sporadic street protests with the intention of forcing the government to act on the five demands are likely to increase.

The five demands of the Hong Kong protesters are:
1. To withdraw the extradition bill
2. To stop labelling protesters as “rioters”
3. To drop charges against protesters
4. To conduct an independent inquiry into police behavior
5. To implement genuine universal suffrage for both the Legislative Council and the Chief Executive
