Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment a 62-year-old man named Santosh Kumar fell into a deep elevator hole from the third-floor of a hotel in Jashpur, India.

According to a Newsflare source: "He was with his family to celebrate the engagement of his son.

"On Thursday [November 21] he pressed the elevator button and the gate opened. Thinking the lift had arrived, he entered inside and fell.

"There was a technical issue with the elevator and the gate opened without the lift actually coming to his floor.

"He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead."

In a very shocking incident a 62 year old man named Santosh Kumar fell into a deep elevator hole from the third floor of a hotel .Santosh Kumar who is a native of Prayagraj city was staying in hotel Nirvana in Jashpur . He was with his family here to celebrate engagement function of his son .
On 21st of November he came out of his room towards the lift to go ground floor ,he pressed the button of elevator ,and the gate got opened ,thinking the lift has arrived ,he without noticing entered inside the gate and fell in deep hole .
There was some technical issue with the elevator and the gate get opened without lift actually coming to his floor .
He was suddenly rushed to hospital ,where he declared dead
