Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong staged a peaceful protest in a shopping mall on Wednesday (November 27).

Parts of the busy shopping centre were brought to a standstill with protesters chanting "fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong”
and “five demands, not one less”.

Pro-Democracy protesters in the Sha Tin area of Hong Kong hold regular peaceful demonstrations in the shopping mall to continue highlighting the five demands of the pro-democracy movement. The protesters put up posters around 8pm and after chanting and singing they remove everything by 10pm so there is no rubbish left behind.

Throughout the peaceful demonstration people chant “Five demands, not one less” and “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong””.

The five demands of the Hong Kong pro-democracy movement are:
1. To withdraw the extradition bill
2. To stop labelling protesters as “rioters”
3. To drop charges against protesters
4. To conduct an independent inquiry into police behaviour
5. To implement genuine universal suffrage for both the Legislative Council and the Chief Executive
