Sea lion climbs onto boat and starts eating US fishermen's bait off Mexico's coast
This was the moment a hungry sea lion climbed onto a fishing boat and started eating away at the fisherman's baitfish on November 27.
The American tourists were on a fishing trip off the coast of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, when a sea lion clambered up onto the back of the boat before digging into the bait in a compartment at the rear of the vessel.
The filmer told Newsflare: "We were fishing in Cabo, Mexico yesterday and a sea lion popped up on the back of the boat and proceeded to steal the leftover baitfish!"
He also wrote online: "The guide said that they [the sea lions] don’t bother them at all on the way out but on the way back, they know they’re allowed to have the baitfish. This wasn’t the only sea lion that stole fish on the way back!"
