Thai farmers planting rice in a paddy field, using noisy petrol engine dispensers to spray the rice across the paddy field,
This is how they plant rice seedlings at Pathumthani, Thailand. First they have to load the rice from sacks, into the dispensers, then spray them across the paddy field. When full of rice they are quite heavy, so this is hard work in hot sunshine. Each operator caries a small stick which acts as a marker, so that when he needs re refill the dispenser he places the marker in the field. He then knows where he needs to resume from once he refills the dispenser.
