Eight-foot-python found wrapped up around truck in south-east India

An eight-foot-long python was found in a truck chassis and rescued by Forest officials in south-east India.

The python was discovered near Chatiguda under Narla police station in Kalahandi district, Odisha, having slithered under a parked truck.

Reportedly, the driver of the vehicle noticed the snake on the chassis while checking the tyre.

After being informed by the driver, the forest personnel retrieved the python and released it into the jungle, with footage showing it swimming away in a nearby stream.
